(Mick Davis)  This guide to the town’s history starts with a short look at the Mesolithic or Middle Stone Age and continues through the centuries right up to 2017, when a famous rock band, Foo Fighters held a ‘secret’ gig in Frome prior to performing at the Glastonbury Festival.

The research necessary in the compiling of this book was carried out in conjunction with Frome historian David Lassman.  The book includes as many previously unpublished photographs and drawings as the author was able to find.
