Barry Brock has investigated the histories of several houses in Sherborne, making use of title deeds, maps and architectural analysis, as well as the familiar tools of the family historian, such as  parish records, census records and wills. Using Sherborne as an example, he will show how these resources and research techniques can be applied to establish the history of most properties, no matter where they may be situated.
