Tim Gale will be speaking on Downe Hall and its place in Bridport’s history. Tim is a local landscape architect and urban designer. The Hall, on Coneygar Hill, is intertwined with Bridport’s rope and net history and amongst its owners and occupants were rope and twine merchants, lawyers and the Commander of the Hanoverian Army.
